GSE Smart IPTV + Tivi Portal: setup and login
This guide walks through installing GSE Smart IPTV, loading your Tivi Portal login and fixing the two issues people hit most: buffering and a missing programme guide. The login itself is the same on every player — a username, a password and a server address.
Step by step
Installing and setting up GSE Smart IPTV
- 1
Install GSE Smart IPTV
Search for GSE Smart IPTV in your device's app store and install it. If the store is unavailable on that device, install a sideloading helper and use the link our support team sends.
- 2
Open the app and add your playlist
On first launch choose the Xtream Codes option and enter your Tivi Portal credentials, or select the M3U/URL option if your activation message contains a playlist link.
- 3
Paste the credentials exactly
Any Name is a label for the profile. Username, Password and Server must match the activation message, including http:// and any port number.
- 4
Load the guide
Let the app sync the channel groups, then set the EPG source to the same server address and refresh the guide. The first build takes a couple of minutes.
- 5
Test live and VOD
Play one live sports channel and one VOD title. If both are stable, setup is complete.
Xtream Codes and M3U connection steps
Connecting your login
Option A — Xtream Codes API
Enter Any Name, Username, Password and Server. The app then loads the live groups, VOD and EPG from one login.
Option B — M3U URL
Paste the playlist URL from your activation message. If groups do not appear, add a trailing slash and reload.
Fix it
Buffering and EPG troubleshooting
The channel list will not load
Re-check the server address and port, confirm your trial or plan is active, and ask support to resend the credentials.
Live TV buffers
Use a wired or 5 GHz connection, close other streaming apps, and pick a Full HD version of the channel for the busiest events.
The EPG is empty
Set the EPG source to the same server address as your login and force a refresh. The first guide build takes a few minutes.
